About The Position

Indiana University Health is seeking passionate, experienced nurses to join their Outpatient Infusion team at Bloomington Hospital. This center handles various infusions, including chemotherapy, antibiotics, fluid replacement, iron infusion, and phlebotomy. While a chemotherapy/biotherapy certification is not required at hire, it will be provided shortly after. The role offers opportunities to develop procedural skills, infusion expertise, and refine time management and critical thinking. Requirements

  • Requires an Associates of Nursing (ASN).
  • Requires an active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana or an active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license.
  • Requires that the RN has graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program. Exceptions: Candidates who have not graduated from a nationally accredited program may be considered if they possess more than two years of acute care experience. Such exceptions are subject to review and approval by the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO).
  • Requires Basic Life Support certification through the AHA.
  • Other advanced Life Support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelors of Nursing (BSN) preferred.
  • Chemotherapy/Biotherapy certification will begin shortly after hire.
