This role involves guiding, mentoring, and empowering nurses and midwives to shape the future of nursing and midwifery education within the Yorke and Northern Local Health Network (YNLHN). The Clinical Nurse/Midwife Facilitator (RN/M2C) role focuses on providing "at elbow" clinical support, mentoring, and fostering a positive learning culture for students, cadets, and graduate nurses and midwives across various clinical settings. Specialist facilitator roles are available in Perioperative, Emergency Department, and Renal nursing. The Associate Nurse/Midwife Educator (RN/M2A) role aims to develop the confidence, skills, and capability of nursing and midwifery students and new clinicians through practical, point-of-care support, both face-to-face and virtually. This role promotes reflective practice, critical thinking, and evidence-based care, with opportunities to lead education portfolios, including precepting, mentoring, and coaching. Both roles are employed within one of three regional hubs and may work across multiple sites within that hub.
