About The Position

The Center for Cancer & Blood Disorders (CCBD) is a community-based oncology and hematology practice with over 25 years of experience serving patients in Bethesda and Germantown, Maryland. They offer advanced, personalized care for cancer and blood disorders, including leading therapies, access to clinical trials, and state-of-the-art diagnostics, all with a patient-first approach. CCBD is seeking an experienced Clinical Nurse Manager to lead and support their oncology nursing team. This role is crucial in fostering a culture of excellence, supporting exceptional patient care, and helping teams thrive. The position offers a $15,000 sign-on bonus and involves close collaboration with Dr. Ralph Boccia, CCBD’s Medical Director and AON’s Medical Director of Research. CCBD provides comprehensive services including on-site infusion therapy, specialty pharmacy home delivery, timely lab and pathology reporting, and supportive programs like wellness services, nutrition guidance, and financial counseling.

Requirements

Unencumbered RN License in Maryland or multi-state licensure.
Valid state Driver’s License for travel to satellite offices and offsite meetings.
Compliance with the company Driver Safety Operations and Motor Vehicle Records Check Policy is required.
Five (5) years of experience in the healthcare field in a clinic or hospital setting.

Nice To Haves

Oncology Nurse certification (OCN) preferred.
Three (3) years of nursing leadership experience preferred.
Oncology experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead and oversee daily clinical operations to ensure safe, compliant, high-quality patient care.
Direct staffing and workflow for nurses and clinical support teams.
Coach, educate, and develop staff.
Coordinate emergency response as needed.
Maintain knowledge of relevant regulations, policies, procedures, and job standards.
Support ongoing operational priorities and projects.
