About The Position

The Clinical Nurse Manager, General Medical Telemetry, Days position is a full-time role located at Glenbrook Hospital. The role involves holding 24/7 accountability for professional nursing practice, development, performance improvement, daily operations, and fiscal management for the assigned clinical unit. The manager will adhere to regulatory compliance, create a therapeutic departmental environment, and establish constructive partnerships to promote loyalty and enhance patient and employee experiences. This role also focuses on leading quality initiatives, promoting critical thinking, fostering a supportive work environment, and advancing practice through innovation and change principles.

Requirements

  • Current professional Nursing Licensure in the state of IL required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing required.
  • BLS/CPR certification required.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in relevant clinical setting required.

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree in Nursing, Business or a Healthcare related discipline preferred.
  • National certification preferred in Medical Surgical or another specialty.
  • Previous management experience preferred with demonstrated progressive clinical leadership.
  • Acute care inpatient Medical Surgical and Neurology experience preferred.
  • Ability to manage relationships, patient outcomes, communication, and conflict effectively.
