Clinical Nurse Manager
About The Position
Tri-County Community Action Agency is seeking an experienced and dynamic Clinical Nurse Manager to provide leadership, oversight, and operational management of nursing, medical assisting, and other clinical support services within our Health Center. This leadership role is responsible for supporting high-quality patient care, optimizing clinical workflows, ensuring regulatory compliance, advancing population health initiatives, and overseeing the agency's Infection Prevention and Control Program. The Clinical Nurse Manager provides clinical leadership and operational oversight for nursing and clinical support services. The position serves as the Health Center's Infection Control Manager and subject matter expert in infection prevention, communicable disease management, employee exposure prevention, and regulatory compliance.
Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Rhode Island.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required.
- Minimum of three (3) years of progressively responsible clinical leadership, nursing management, or healthcare operations experience
Responsibilities
- Providing leadership, supervision, and support to nursing and clinical support staff.
- Promoting high-quality, patient-centered care and positive patient outcomes.
- Managing and improving clinical workflows, staffing, and operational efficiency.
- Supporting quality improvement initiatives and population health programs.
- Ensuring compliance with federal, state, and accrediting body regulations.
- Leading the agency's Infection Prevention and Control Program.
- Monitoring infection prevention practices and responding to communicable disease concerns.
