About The Position

The Clinical Nurse Manager for ASU/PACU will be responsible for the knowledge and application of NorthShore policies and procedures, management of nursing personnel to ensure quality patient care, customer orientation to ensure satisfied patients, employees, and physicians, fiscal management to ensure financial resources are used appropriately and strategically, building effective relationships to create and maintain a cohesive team, ensuring compliance with regulatory agency requirements, implementing Endeavor Health Process Improvements, developing self to stay current with trends in healthcare, and managing the Patient Care Unit to provide a safe, clean, and secure environment. This role also includes Endeavor Health hourly rounding.

Requirements

  • BSN Required
  • CPR BLS through AHA
  • IL RN License
  • Minimum of two years experience in an appropriate clinical setting required.
  • Evidence of leadership, problem-solving abilities, and effective communication skills.
  • Must demonstrate competency in care of all patient age groups specific to unit/specialty.
  • Competencies are unit/specialty specific.

  • Previous management experience preferred.
