We are located in the heart of Covington on the 2nd floor of Lakeview Medical Pavilion. AMG Physical Rehabilitation Hospital - Covington is seeking a Full Time Clinical Nurse Manager. While on duty is authorized and designated by the Chief Clinical Officer to assume overall responsibility for clinical nursing practice. Provides for continuity in decision making and consistency in nursing practice by assuring that nursing and hospital standards and objectives are met. Acts as a resource and support person for the nursing staff. Focuses on quality and infection control data and measures for improved patient outcomes. Represents administration during any event occurring in their absence. Embraces and demands a culture of professionalism and accountability. Responsible for fostering a positive milieu. Keeps CCO and CEO apprised of situations that may place facility at risk. Communicates with physicians/CCO/co-workers, as appropriate about changes in patient’s clinical condition. Responds quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment. Provides clinical support at the bedside. Mentors and educates using evidenced based practice. Requirements

Current RN Louisiana clinical licensure in good standing required.
Current BLS Certification.
Current ACLS Certification.
Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
Basic computer knowledge.

Nice To Haves

Quality, infection control experience preferred.
Additional languages desirable.
