About The Position

The Clinical Nurse Leader (CNL) is a clinical practitioner who integrates experience, skills, and knowledge from nursing theory in the provision of direct patient/resident care, assessment of needs, clinical problem solving, and patient/resident and student/staff education. Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years clinical nursing experience
  • Experience in a community rural setting
  • Bachelor Degree or Diploma in Nursing or Psychiatric Nursing
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certificate (ACLS)
  • Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Certificate (CPR)
  • Intermediate Computer Skills
  • Valid driver's license, where required
  • Must have a current practicing registration with SASW or CRNS

Nice To Haves

  • Supervisory experience is an asset
  • MDS training would be considered an asset.
