About The Position

Holy Cross Health, a member of Trinity Health, is a 557-bed, not-for-profit Catholic teaching hospital serving Broward and Palm Beach counties. The Clinical Nurse II delivers quality professional nursing care to patients in the Observation Unit as an integral member of the healthcare team. The nurse collaborates with physicians and other nurses on patient treatment plans and performs detailed patient assessments. This is a modified full-time position on the night shift with benefits.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited (ACEN/CCNE) school of nursing.
• One to two years of previous medical-surgical or stepdown experience.
• Florida RN license.
• BLS certification.
• ACLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Deliver professional nursing care to patients in the Observation Unit.
• Work as an integral part of the healthcare team.
• Collaborate with physicians and nurses regarding patient treatment plans.
• Perform detailed assessments of patients.
