Clinical Nurse I - Medical-Surgical ICU - Full-Time - Nights
About The Position
NewYork-Presbyterian/The Allen Hospital seeks a Clinical Nurse I for its 12-bed Medical-Surgical ICU. Working alongside Columbia doctors, the nurse will be an integral partner in team-based care for critically ill patients, gaining exposure to a wide range of physiologic disease and providing specialized care, including continuous renal replacement therapy (CRRT), therapeutic hypothermia, and prone therapy. The position is full-time, 12-hour night shift. Roles require on-site presence, variable by role, and employees should live within a commutable distance to NYP. NYP will not reimburse travel expenses.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of adult ICU experience.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.
- Current New York State RN licensure or willingness to obtain it.
- BCLS certification.
Nice To Haves
- Adult CCRN certification.
- ACLS certification.
Responsibilities
