The Clinical Nurse Educator is responsible for supporting the education needs of the ICU/PCU/Open Heart clinical departments. This includes designing, developing, implementing, and evaluating classroom and clinical instruction for onboarding, continuing education, and professional development of nursing and allied health professionals. The educator collaborates with department leaders to identify educational needs through assessments, surveys, and quality data.

Requirements

• Graduate of Accredited Program in Nursing
• BSN
• Five years of Acute or Clinic Setting Experience
• Certification in area of Speciality within one year of hire.
• Obtaining Masters Degree within three years of hire.

Responsibilities

• Supporting the education needs of the ICU/PCU/Open Heart clinical departments.
• Designing, developing, implementing, and evaluating classroom and clinical instruction.
• Supporting onboarding, continuing education, and professional development needs of nursing and allied health professionals for the assigned department(s).
• Working closely with the department leader to identify education needs through assessments, surveys, and quality data.
