About The Position

The basic purpose of nursing is to provide safe, competent nursing care for patients in accordance with facility policies, standards, and philosophy. Requirements

Registered Nurse (RN) license.
MSN preferred.
BSN within 3 years of hire.
Two years experience working in acute care nursing.
Current Texas nursing license or compact.
BLS (Basic Life Support) Healthcare Provider course according to RQI program guidelines and all required Emergency Cardiovascular Care (ECC) Healthcare Provider courses will be provided during new hire orientation or upon transfer, and must be completed prior to working in a clinical setting.
ACLS is required.
National Certification preferred.
Must be clinically competent in area of population served.
Must demonstrate knowledge and ability to work effectively with all levels of personnel.
Must possess excellent communication skills and demonstrate team leadership.
Must have the ability to problem solve and think critically.
Must possess basic computer application skills.
