Clinical Medical Physicist
About The Position
Astera Cancer Care/Princeton Radiation Oncology is seeking a Clinical Medical Physicist for an exciting career opportunity at CentraState Medical Center in Freehold NJ. This role involves daily clinical services, quality assurance, external beam treatment planning, and special procedures like HDR brachytherapy and stereotactic treatments. The successful candidate will also participate in acceptance testing and commissioning of equipment and new clinical programs. Occasional coverage at other centers may be required. This is a unique opportunity to join a world-class team in a physician-owned group providing physics and dosimetry services at four fully accredited radiation oncology treatment facilities. The team consists of 6 physicists and 6 dosimetrists. CentraState will be using Eclipse/ARIA /TrueBeam starting July 2026.
Requirements
- MS or Ph.D. in physics, radiological physics, medical physics or a related specialty
- Certification by the ABR, or the ABMP or board eligible
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience
