About The Position
On behalf of our client, we are seeking an experienced Physician Clinical Medical Director to join their Stockton, CA team. This is an excellent opportunity for a physician who enjoys direct patient care while also providing clinical leadership, mentoring providers, and helping drive quality and operational improvements.
Requirements
- MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
- Current, unrestricted California medical license.
- Board certified or board eligible in an appropriate specialty.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and mentoring skills.
- Commitment to quality patient care, safety, and continuous improvement.
Nice To Haves
- Clinical leadership experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide 100% center-based direct patient care.
- Serve as the Clinical Medical Director for the assigned center.
- Lead by example and promote clinical excellence and an exceptional patient experience.
- Mentor and develop clinicians and future clinical leaders.
- Partner with medical and operational leadership to improve quality, safety, workflows, patient satisfaction, and center performance.
- Support staffing, clinician meetings, and operational initiatives.
- Develop relationships with employers, payers, referral sources, networks, and community partners to support market growth.
- Understand and contribute to center financial and strategic goals.
