About The Position
Tri-State Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine is seeking a full-time Clinical Medical Assistant/Surgery Scheduler to join their practice. This role involves both clinical/back-office duties and surgery scheduling. The practice has been providing advanced orthopaedic care for 50 years and is looking for a candidate with excellent customer service skills, a passion for helping patients, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment with a positive attitude. On-the-job training is provided.
Requirements
- Medical experience required
- Ability to travel to all offices (Seven Fields, North Hills, Robinson Township, Butler and Fox Chapel areas)
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinic environment
- Positive and upbeat attitude
Nice To Haves
- Orthopaedic experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Rooming patients
- Postoperative wound care
- Triaging patient calls
- Scheduling surgeries to be performed in various hospitals
- Performing a variety of other back-office tasks
