About The Position
CALRegional is seeking an enthusiastic and self-motivated part-time Clinical Medical Assistant Skills Assistant to join their team. This role is ideal for medical professionals looking to supplement their income and make a significant impact on aspiring healthcare professionals. The Clinical Medical Assistant Programs run for 8-10 weeks. The schedule is Tuesday & Thursday from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm in Madera, CA. No teaching experience is required.
Requirements
- 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant or in a directly related field required.
- Familiar with A&P, Medical Terminology, Basic Pharmacology and Medical Math.
- Front office experience.
- Back office procedures EKG, Urine, Vitals, BPs, Temps, Injections, Adult-Pediatric, minor wound trays, and bandaging experience.
- Must be energetic and able to deliver instruction passionately.
- Ability to mentor students and hold them accountable to program standards.
- Comfortable with computers and technology.
- Highly organized and detail oriented.
- Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities
- Aid student learning through exemplary instruction by following an established course outline.
- Aid in student learning outcomes.
- Maintain current knowledge in the subject matter area and effective teaching/learning strategies.
- Maintain appropriate standards of professionalism and conduct.
- Aid all required skill labs with the Lead instructor.
