About The Position

CALRegional is seeking an enthusiastic and self-motivated part-time Clinical Medical Assistant Lead Instructor for its Fresno Campus. This role is ideal for medical professionals looking to supplement their income by teaching aspiring healthcare professionals. No prior teaching experience is required, but a passion for education and a strong understanding of medical assisting are essential. The instructor will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction, facilitating skill labs, and grading student work, contributing to the company's mission of changing lives and building the essential workforce.

Requirements

5 years of experience as a Medical Assistant or in a directly related field required.
Familiar with A&P, Medical Terminology, and Medical Math.
Front office experience.
Back office procedures EKG, Urine, Vitals, BPs, Temps, Injections, Adult-Pediatric, minor wound trays, and bandaging experience.
Must be energetic and able to deliver instruction passionately.
Ability to mentor students and hold them accountable to program standards.
Comfortable with computers and technology.
Highly organized and detail oriented.
Current CPR certification.

No teaching experience required.
