About The Position

CALRegional is seeking an enthusiastic and self-motivated part-time Clinical Medical Assistant Lead Instructor to join their team. This role is ideal for medical professionals looking to supplement their income while making a significant impact on aspiring healthcare professionals. The Clinical Medical Assistant Programs run for 8-10 weeks, and applicants must be available during the weekday morning schedule. The schedule is Monday-Thursday from 5:30pm to 9:30pm, with a hybrid work model involving rotating on-site and remote work. The instructor will be responsible for advancing student learning through exemplary instruction, assisting in student learning outcomes, maintaining current knowledge in the subject matter, and facilitating skill labs.

Requirements

5 years of experience as a Medical Assistant or in a directly related field required.
Familiar with A&P, Medical Terminology, Basic Pharmacology and Medical Math.
Front office experience.
Back-office procedures EKG, Urine, Vitals, BPs, Temps, Injections, Adult-Pediatric, minor wound trays, and bandaging experience.
Must be energetic and able to deliver instruction passionately.
Ability to mentor students and hold them accountable to program standards.
Comfortable with computers and technology.
Highly organized and detail oriented.
Current CPR certification.

Nice To Haves

No teaching experience is required.
