About The Position

This role provides management oversight and strategic leadership for the Clinic Nursing Float Pool, ensuring efficient staff deployment across ambulatory locations, including the La Crosse campus, Onalaska, and regional clinics. The Clinical Manager will also oversee Clinic Operations staffing and scheduling, working in close partnership with clinic, hospital, and system operations leaders. This position directly and indirectly leads a diverse team of approximately 55 staff, including Registered Nurses (RNs), Medical Assistants (MAs), Clinic Coordinator, Office Assistant, and Personnel Schedulers. The role involves managing employee performance, engagement, and development to ensure optimal daily operations and high team morale. Collaboration with other Clinical Managers, Clinical Operations Directors, and Hospital Float Pool leadership is key to aligning staffing models and operational priorities. The Clinical Manager will also serve as a key stakeholder in major initiatives such as the UKG Phase 2 implementation and future-state clinic staffing and scheduling models.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a health‑related field
  • Registered Nurse (RN) license to practice in the state of Wisconsin
  • 5–7 years of clinical or equivalent healthcare experience demonstrating leadership skills
