About The Position

The Clinical Manager at Great Falls Clinic Hospital directs clinical practice and is responsible for the development of policies, procedures, orientation, and nursing practice within the clinic setting. This role involves collaborating with providers, staff, and patients. Key responsibilities include staff evaluations, coaching, discipline, overseeing competencies, assisting with new program development, staff and patient education, scheduling, and customer service follow-up. The manager also assists with quality review and reporting, compliance, safety, infection control, and regulatory body compliance. Interviewing and hiring qualified staff is a crucial part of this role. Additionally, the Clinical Manager is responsible for assisting with the development of annual budgets and managing the approved budget, as well as identifying, developing, and implementing efficient and cost-effective workflows. This position receives direction from the Director of Outpatient Services.

Requirements

  • Nursing degree or Bachelor's degree in healthcare field
  • Experience in a supervisor or leadership role(s)
  • Experience in outpatient clinical practice
  • Registered Nurse (RN), preferred
  • Knowledge of the purposes, organization, and policies of the community's health systems.
  • Knowledge of the policies and procedures of healthcare operations.
  • Knowledge of the principles and practices of employee development.
  • Knowledge of computer programs and applications
  • Knowledge of budget
  • Knowledge of State Board of Nursing Rules.
  • Strong customer service and customer relation skills.
  • Excellent computer skills including Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint.
  • Skill in analyzing situations accurately and taking effective action.
  • Skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with employees, policy-making bodies, third party payors, patients, and the public.
  • Skill in exercising judgment and discretion in developing, applying, interpreting, and coordinating departmental policies and procedures.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Skills in assessing effective/efficient workflows.
