Requirements

  • Master’s or Doctorate degree in Psychology, Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy, or equivalent required.
  • 2 years of applicable experience, preferably to include direct experience working with children birth-to-five and their families
  • Minimum of 1-year of supervisory experience
  • Knowledge of trauma-informed and culturally-informed care
  • Knowledge of diagnosis/treatment planning; knowledge of DSM-V and ICD-11
  • Knowledge of family systems, psychoeducation and group modalities.
  • Good analytical skills within scope of license.
  • Knowledge of clinical treatment modalities for Birth-5 and school-age populations.
  • Currently licensed in the state of CA Board of Psychology or Board of Behavioral Sciences for a minimum of 2 years, and able to clinically supervise registered associates and/or interns required.
  • Background check required.
  • Live Scan Clearance / DOJ Fingerprinting

  • MVR / DMV clearance in accordance with CCRC’s liability insurance provisions

  • Credit & Bankruptcy Check: For positions with fiscal responsibility (roles with authority over financial transactions), a credit and bankruptcy check will be conducted to assess financial responsibility in alignment with agency standards and applicable laws, including the federal Fair Credit Reporting Act (15 U.S.C. 1681 et seq.) and California Labor Code restrictions on credit reports (Labor Code 1025.5.)

  • Child Development Permit : For positions working in an educational capacity (California Education Code Sections 44242.5, 44340, and 44341)

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and implement assigned contracts, grants, evidence-based models and programs to full compliance with contractual requirements, performance measures/standards and applicable professional legal and ethical standards. Complete/generate reports as needed, internally and externally.
  • Provide clinical oversight for all assigned staff, in accordance with the Board of Behavioral Sciences requirements for the clinical supervision for unlicensed/registered clinicians.
  • Attend and participate in all contract-required and appropriate community meetings as required/assigned. Attend internal/external meetings as directed and needed for program(s)/Services.
  • Provide guidance and administrative oversight to assigned supervisees and program staff as needed/required by contract and agency standards. Provide a minimum of weekly individual and/or group supervision for direct service staff using a Reflective Practice Framework.
  • Oversight of program budget in compliance with agency and funder regulations.
