About The Position

The Clinical Manager - Naperville - Pain Ambulatory Surgical Center is a full-time position requiring 40 hours per week, with hours typically Monday-Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, though flexibility to start earlier or work later may be needed. This role is located at the Rolling Ridge office in Naperville and requires an RN License and relevant experience. Requirements

  • Graduation from an accredited Registered Nursing program.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Current and valid Illinois Nurse License.
  • Knowledge of nursing skills in accordance with nursing standards in the Nurse Practice Act.
  • At least five years of professional nursing experience.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborates with physicians on accomplishing Practice goals, including financial targets, quality, and patient satisfaction. Keeps physicians informed on progress and communicates organizational initiatives and policies, assisting them in interpretation and adherence.
  • Organizes and budgets resources (people, equipment, materials) to deliver effective patient care. Reviews department goals and arranges work to accomplish them, developing short-term targets as indicators.
  • Reviews financial and patient outcomes, ensuring they fall within acceptable limits. Trends data and investigates outliers to determine necessary corrective or preventive actions. Evaluates department data against performance benchmarks and goals, working with the clinical team to implement performance improvement.
  • Plans for the acquisition, alignment, and engagement of human resources through selection, onboarding, coaching, appraisal, and development. Aims to create an environment emphasizing teamwork and appropriately seeks guidance for human resource concerns.
  • Assesses the patient experience through various feedback methods, tracks complaints, and responds promptly. Works to recover patient satisfaction and ensures patient needs are met. Educates patients on MPAS policies to enhance understanding and prevent misunderstandings. Escalates issues to Directors for resolution based on organizational systems.
  • Serves as a member of the Management Team, representing their Practice to other MPAS management associates. May participate in Ad Hoc or Standing Committees and acts as a representative of MPAS in the community.
  • Functions as a clinical/management resource and leader for the clinical team and physicians.
  • Performs the duties of the triage nurse, staff nurse, or medical assistant as necessary.
  • Consults and coordinates with healthcare team members to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
  • Provides professional clinical leadership, maintains/delegates work schedules for nursing staff, delegates tasks, monitors overtime, adjusts schedules, approves time off requests, assists in annual employee evaluations, coordinates department meetings, monitors budgetary constraints, maintains DMG policies and procedures, acts as a doctor/patient liaison, maintains patient confidentiality, and assures OSHA/Safety compliance.
  • Is available to other office clinical and non-clinical staff to answer questions and provide assistance.
  • Performs all other duties/responsibilities as assigned.
