About The Position

Providing ongoing supervision, direction and program implementation to a specialized team of Therapists and Family Engagement Specialists who are trained to serve comprehensive service lines, including FCT (Family Centered Treatment), Family Preservation, and IFCS (Intensive Foster Care Services). This team utilizes evidence-based models to support children and families at risk for or impacted by child abuse and neglect. The role ensures effective program outcomes, compliance with fidelity to models, accreditation standards, court orders, and Department of Child Services service standards. This position requires training and certification in specific evidence-based practices such as Family Centered Treatment, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Nurturing Parenting, Domestic Violence Services, Motivational Interviewing, Trauma Based Relational Therapy, and best practices in reunification. The position also involves understanding the impact of face-to-face hours and outcomes on the agency budget. As a leadership position, the Clinical Manager is expected to coach, develop, mentor, guide, support, and teach staff to instill Iris core values, beliefs, vision, and mission related to quality service to families and children, as well as to one another.

• Master’s degree in social work, Psychology, Counseling or related human service field.
• Possess Clinical Licensure in the State of Indiana: LMHC, LMFT, or LCSW

• Completed Family Centered Treatment Supervisory certification within one year of employment.

Responsibilities

• Oversight of the hiring, onboarding, and training of a high-performing specialized comprehensive team to serve at-risk families and children.
• Ensure certifications and licensing are in place in a timely manner for all staff.
• Oversight of the specialized team in their day-to-day operations, ensuring quality services to all children and families, including staff delivering high-quality services at least 50% of the work week, maintaining compliance with all service standards (e.g., first face-to-face meeting, assessment timelines, progress note completion, treatment plan expectations, monthly reports), and ensuring fidelity to all evidenced-based practices.
• Implement and oversee an on-call system to support comprehensive families during after-hours for emergency needs.
• In collaboration with agency leaders, oversee program capacity to ensure budgetary expectations.
• Oversee the implementation of effective tracking and monitoring systems to ensure compliance with program service standards, evidenced-based models, accreditation standards, agency performance quality improvement system, and best practices in intervention programs.
• Provide a minimum of one hour of supervision each week to team members, ensuring documentation expectations are met for effective supervision.
• Provide effective and timely feedback to support staff evaluation, development, and training activities.
• Ensure all outcomes for the program are obtained, per service standard (e.g., face-to-face within 24 hours of referral, 80% of families intact at service initiation remain intact; 67% of families reunified at the end of service provision, 90% of families not subject to a new child abuse and neglect report).
• Effectively implement personnel policies and procedures as outlined in the agency policy manuals.
• Work with agency and program leaders to complete an annual program evaluation of all programs to assist with annual planning.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
