About The Position

The Clinical Manager is a field-based leader responsible for driving clinical adoption, education, and utilization of advanced medical technologies across urology and critical care settings. This individual partners cross-functionally with commercial leadership to support territory growth through hands-on procedural support, clinical training, and strategic account development. This role requires a strong clinical foundation, the ability to influence physician stakeholders, and a high level of autonomy in managing a geographically diverse territory.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required (clinical or life sciences preferred)
  • 3+ years of experience in a medical device, clinical support, or healthcare environment
  • Demonstrated ability to support complex clinical procedures and train healthcare professionals
  • Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
  • Proven ability to work independently in a field-based, high-travel role
  • Willingness to travel extensively within the Pacific Northwest

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience in operating room, ICU, or procedural settings strongly preferred
  • Background in urology, critical care, or adjacent procedural specialties
  • Experience supporting capital or clinically complex medical technologies
  • History of collaborating closely with sales teams to drive account growth

Responsibilities

  • Provide in-depth, hands-on clinical support during surgical and bedside procedures across urology and critical care environments
  • Serve as the primary clinical expert during evaluations, trials, and product adoption phases
  • Ensure procedural success through real-time troubleshooting, workflow optimization, and best-practice guidance
  • Lead clinical education programs for physicians, nurses, and hospital staff
  • Conduct in-services, workshops, and one-on-one training sessions to drive proficiency and utilization
  • Support onboarding of new accounts and continued education within the existing customer base
  • Partner with sales leadership to identify growth opportunities within key accounts
  • Support evaluation processes and conversion of target accounts through clinical validation
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with physicians, clinical stakeholders, and hospital decision-makers
  • Independently manage travel, scheduling, and territory priorities across a multi-state region (3 weeks per month, 2-3 nights per week overnights)
  • Coordinate coverage across multiple sites, including hospitals, outpatient centers, and academic institutions
  • Support regional initiatives and collaborate with cross-functional teams (sales, marketing, clinical education)
  • Maintain accurate documentation of clinical activities and account interactions
  • Provide feedback to internal teams on market dynamics, clinical trends, and customer needs
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory, legal, and company guidelines
