Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the day to day operation of assigned departments including staffing, the delivery of clinical care and physician satisfaction while meeting budget expectations of the organization.
  • Meeting cost targets as stated in the department’s approved budget.
  • Staff satisfaction as measured by turnover and the annual employee survey.
  • Physician satisfaction as measured by physician satisfaction survey.
  • Patient satisfaction as measured by applicable patient surveys.
  • Conducting regular staff meetings.
  • Ensuring staffing complies with ratios for safe patient care.
  • Employee counseling.
  • Monitoring of attendance and educational needs.
  • Actively leads and/or participates in teams/committees to improve organizational outcomes and operations excellence.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
