Responsibilities
- Responsible for the day to day operation of assigned departments including staffing, the delivery of clinical care and physician satisfaction while meeting budget expectations of the organization.
- Meeting cost targets as stated in the department’s approved budget.
- Staff satisfaction as measured by turnover and the annual employee survey.
- Physician satisfaction as measured by physician satisfaction survey.
- Patient satisfaction as measured by applicable patient surveys.
- Conducting regular staff meetings.
- Ensuring staffing complies with ratios for safe patient care.
- Employee counseling.
- Monitoring of attendance and educational needs.
- Actively leads and/or participates in teams/committees to improve organizational outcomes and operations excellence.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
