About The Position

Temple Faculty Physicians, the academic practice plan of Temple Health, is made up of more than 500 employed physicians who are the cornerstone of clinical care and teaching for Temple's healthcare enterprise. Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree Required
• 1 year of clinical or directly related healthcare leadership/practice management Required
• 5 years experience in a clinical role Required
• Basic Life Support Required

Nice To Haves

• Master's Degree Preferred
• National certification in relevant specialty preferred
• General Experience in clinical role in assigned clinical area Preferred

Responsibilities

• Directs the clinical care provided to patients in a department, division or unit.
• Maintains standards of service excellence and clinical practice.
• Develops evidenced based policies, procedures, and work processes to ensure provision of quality patient care.
• Responsible for clinical staffing.
• Responsible for budget, control of expenses and maintenance of supplies/equipment in collaboration with practice managers, senior administrators and AVPs.
• Responsible for continuing development and education of clinical staff, performance improvement and human resource management.
• Supervises, evaluates, guides and counsels clinical staff in their work performance.
