Ascension St. Thomas Rehabilitation Hospital is seeking a Clinical Liaison (CL) for a Per Diem position. In this role, you will support individuals interfacing with and providing care to patients and community members. Requirements

Clinical Licensure as an RN, PT, OT, SLP, or RRT
Bachelor's degree
Valid driver's license
Availability to work weekends

Nice To Haves

Previous marketing/sales experience
Previous clinical experience, with demonstrated skills in clinical assessment and EMR systems
Formal Sales Training

Responsibilities

Builds and maintains referral relationships to drive appropriate admissions to the hospital.
Assist and coordinate the intake and pre-admission screening process.
Perform on-site clinical judgment to determine the appropriateness of the patient for admission.
Communicates rehabilitation and facility options to patients and families.
Determines admission appropriateness and assesses the patient's expectations and requirements for participation.
Secures information relating to patients' resources and benefits.
Functions as initial contact for external case management and discharge planner personnel with payors and hospital facilities.
