About The Position

As a Clinical Leader in Practices, your strong ability to lead and guide others serve as valuable resources for staff, as well as facilitating patient care. Rochester Regional Health Otolaryngology has more than two decades of highly successful results. With board-certified and fellowship-trained physicians focused on your health and comfort, we provide the most comprehensive ENT care in Western New York, including in-office ultrasounds and outpatient procedures.

Requirements

Associate’s degree in nursing required.
Current New York State Registered Nurse License required.
BLS - Basic Life Support - American Heart Association (AHA)
RN - Registered Nurse - New York State Education Department (NYSED)

Nice To Haves

Minimum of 2 years RN experience preferred.
Prior leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead physicians, practice managers and clinical leaders to run the day-to-day functions of the practice, resolving issues and concerns.
Function as the clinical resource for LPN, MOA and Clerical staff.
Ensure staff is rounding on patients, consistently using AIDET (Acknowledge, Introduce, Duration, Explanation, Thank you).
Recognize staff for a job well done or for role modeling.
Coach staff privately when performance is below standard.
Participate in the selection of new staff and ensure peer interview process is followed.
Responsible for the success of the practice pillar goals, working closely with the triad leadership to achieve patient satisfaction, employee satisfaction, financial growth and quality goals that are aligned with the organizational goals.
Resolve any issue or concerns at the time of the rounding.
Follow up any concerns with lead physician and nurse manager.
Identify and know of all high-risk patients and ensure plan of care is current.
