About The Position

This role is a hands-on internship designed for future Clinical Leaders in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). The Clinical Leader Intern supports the design and delivery of evidence-based behavioral health services for children with autism spectrum disorders and/or related developmental disabilities. Working under the supervision of a licensed or credentialed Clinical Leader, this role assists in implementing treatment plans aligned with physician recommendations across home, school, and other natural settings. The position involves direct client support, providing 1:1 ABA services using play-based, evidence-based strategies, following individualized treatment plans, and supporting skill development in communication, socialization, and daily living skills. It also offers early clinical leadership exposure with a limited caseload, participation in joint sessions, shadowing, in-field coaching, assistance with documentation review, session preparation, treatment fidelity, and support for parent education conversations. This role is not independent supervision but guided, mentored exposure to leadership.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Child Development, Childhood Education, Special Education, or Pediatric Therapy (Physical, Occupational, or Speech Therapy)
  • 2+ years of related professional experience implementing behavior modification intervention services, OR
  • 1+ year of related professional experience implementing behavior modification intervention services and 12 semester units in Applied Behavior Analysis, OR
  • Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA)
  • Reliable transportation
  • Ability to complete training, documentation, and physical requirements of the role
  • Proof of vaccinations (MMR, Varicella, COVID – CA mandated)
  • Comfort working with diverse populations

Responsibilities

  • Provide 1:1 ABA services using play-based, evidence-based strategies
  • Follow individualized treatment plans designed by Clinical Leaders

  • Carry a limited caseload with added responsibility, supported by senior clinicians

  • Support parent education conversations alongside Clinical Leaders
  • Collaborate with Training and Operations teams as part of your learning experience
