The Clinical Lead supports daily clinic operations while providing hands-on patient care. This role serves as the primary resource for clinical staff, ensuring efficient workflows, strong team performance, and high-quality, compliant patient care.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Accredited Medical Assistant program completion
  • Current CMA certification or active RN/LPN license
  • SPICE certification (or ability to obtain)
  • Clinical or medical office experience preferred
  • Strong knowledge of medical terminology and basic clinical procedures
  • Familiarity with EMR systems, HIPAA, and OSHA standards
  • Excellent communication, organization, and multitasking skills
  • Team-oriented with a patient-focused approach

Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary point of contact for clinical staff
  • Lead daily huddles and manage patient flow and priorities
  • Provide coaching, feedback, and staff training
  • Assign tasks and oversee clinical workflows
  • Coordinate staffing needs with the Regional Clinical Manager
  • Escalate operational or personnel concerns as needed
  • Cross-cover clinical roles as necessary
  • Perform patient intake, vitals, and clinical support tasks
  • Assist providers during exams and procedures
  • Administer medications and perform basic lab functions, including phlebotomy
  • Provide wound care and other in-clinic treatments
  • Maintain accurate medical records and documentation
  • Triage patient calls and messages
  • Ensure OSHA compliance and manage clinical supplies
  • Deliver professional, patient-centered care
  • Communicate effectively with patients and team members
  • Maintain HIPAA compliance and confidentiality
  • Support a collaborative, positive clinic environment
