About The Position

The Clinical Lead has overall responsibility for the clinical and administrative functioning of the unit to which they are assigned. Assures that all patient services are delivered in an efficient and effective manner. Responsible for staffing of the program and supervision of assigned staff.

Requirements

  • Minimum of a Licensed Eligible Master's Degree required.
  • A minimum of 3 years experience in the mental health field required.

Nice To Haves

  • Clinical License preferred
  • 1 year supervisory experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for assuring that programs meet all regulatory and accreditation requirements.
  • Leads the team in assuring that the program schedule meets the needs of the patients and is followed daily to ensure effective treatment
  • Organizes and participates in an overall system to evaluate the quality of patient care.
  • Oversees daily interdisciplinary team meeting and assures that communication from the team meeting is communicated to all staff who work on the unit.
  • Responsible for working with clinical director to define and implement program goals and integration of these goals into the organization’s performance improvement process.
  • Responsible for assuring the delivery of all patient services.
  • Participates in hiring, training, supervising and evaluating the performance of all program staff.
  • Evaluates staffing needs and works with nurse managers to ensure adequate staffing for acuity and programming.
  • Provides clinical leadership to the organization through participation on various Eagleville Hospital committees.
  • Acts as liaison when needed with payors/referral sources/families
  • Ensures the integrity of the patient record is maintained, that notes are timely and treatment plans are comprehensive, and meet all quality standards.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by Clinical Director.
  • Responsible for working in tandem with both AIP units to ensure systems and practices are consistent on both units.
  • Complies with current hospital safety and infection control policies.
  • Directly supervises the following positions: Therapists, Social Workers; and counselors.
  • Has monthly documented supervision with each direct report.
  • Monitors staff’s productivity, paperwork and training and provides written improvement plans as necessary.
  • Completes annual staff evaluations and training plans.
