About The Position

Trinity Health Livonia is seeking a Clinical Leader to join their team. The Clinical Leader is a collaborative leader responsible for coordinating and facilitating the optimal provision of care through daily management of unit operations. This role involves practicing in accordance with established standards, promoting the Trinity Health Model of Care and the nursing profession, and driving nursing practice through shared governance. The Clinical Leader is expected to uphold the ANA Code of Ethics for Nurses.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Active license to practice nursing in the State of Michigan.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for all inpatient bedside care areas, and inpatient and outpatient surgical services required within 45 days from date of hire or transfer.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred.
• Certification by a nationally recognized nursing organization is preferred.
• Membership in a professional nursing organization is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinating and facilitating the optimal provision of care through daily management of unit operations.
• Practicing in accordance with the standards established/endorsed by Trinity Health leadership and by external regulators and accreditation agencies.
• Actively promoting the Trinity Health Model of Care and the nursing profession, in fulfillment of the Trinity Health Quality Plan for Nursing.
• Driving nursing practice though facilitation of shared governance.
• Abiding by the ANA Code of Ethics for Nurses.
