Clinical Lead Manager (LCSW)
About The Position
Joining the leadership team at Vida Guidance Center- Urban Health Plan's Article-31 Mental Health Clinic, this role seeks a dynamic Clinical Lead Manager (LCSW). The Clinical Lead Manager will support the Director of Vida Guidance Center in the success of the center and provide clinical supervision to therapists (LMSW, LMHC, LCATs). This position offers clinical and operational oversight to ensure high-quality, evidence-based behavioral health services. The role involves supervising staff, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to improve patient care, access, and overall program performance.
Requirements
- Master's degree in social work required at minimum.
- NYS Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
- 5+ years of proven expertise in clinical therapy with the ability to clinically supervise other professionals (ideal background in article-31 setting).
- Strong familiarity with diagnosis, mental health treatment, and evidence-based modality.
- Understanding of regulatory compliance needs within ambulatory settings.

- Bilingual English and Spanish are strongly preferred to best serve our patient populations.
Responsibilities
- Provides clinical supervision and support for staff, monitoring performance standards and supporting needs.
- Ensures documentation compliance in accordance with OMH standards.
- Supports a team-based approach to assure the highest delivery of care outcomes.
- Provides timely and appropriate assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, and treatment intervention of patients.
- Coordinates care with interdisciplinary teams.
- Ensures appropriate selection of treatment modality to patient's presenting problem.
- Determines the urgency of patient's needs.
- Provides treatment for children, adolescents, adults, and the elderly.
- Provides clinical consultation in an integrated health care environment regarding family interactions, socio-cultural determinants, and community resources.
- Consults with the Program Director and/or Psychiatrist on individual patients who do not improve and participates in clinical decision-making for stepped-up care and referral.
- Maintains and builds linkages with Mental Health Institutions, Alcohol and Other Drugs, Social Services, Hospitals, and other community resources.
- Participates in QM and CQI activities.
- Acts as a resource to other UHP providers.
- Collaborates with physicians and other providers to develop and implement treatment and intervention programs that patients can understand and comply with.
- Manages decisions regarding admission, waitlists, and other Article 31 regulatory requirements.
- Helps oversee line staff to assure that all processes are followed accordingly.
