About The Position

As a Field-Based, Clinical Lead – you will travel across Annapolis and surrounding communities delivering hands-on supervision, coaching to Developmental Paraprofessionals (DPPs), and partnering with families to implement our innovative, developmental model (DRBI) in our client’s homes. We are especially looking for someone excited about expanding into a new service area and helping to build our presence in Baltimore! This is not a remote, clinic or office-based role. We are looking for a licensed clinician that loves the energy and flexibility of field work!

Requirements

  • Master’s degree and active clinical license required (e.g., LCSW, LMFT, LPCC, LMHC)
  • Minimum 3 years of clinical experience in developmental, behavioral, or autism services.
  • Demonstrated experience providing field-based supervision and interdisciplinary case management.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with meticulous attention to documentation quality.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, multi-site environment.
  • Reliable transportation required; this role involves frequent home and community visits.

Responsibilities

  • Provide hands-on clinical supervision through regular home and community visits, observing DPP sessions and offering real-time feedback and coaching.
  • Ensure DPPs are delivering interventions aligned with the Positive Development model and clinical treatment plan.
  • Conduct fidelity checks and document performance to inform ongoing training and development of DPPs.
  • Partner with DPP Managers to review field performance, identify support needs, and reinforce model integrity.
  • Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments (in-person) to evaluate developmental, behavioral, and relational functioning.
  • Lead parent/caregiver meetings to establish family goals, priorities, and collaboration strategies.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain individualized treatment plans consistent with PD’s model and payer requirements.
  • Monitor client progress through data and observation, updating goals and interventions as clinically indicated.
  • Lead interdisciplinary case reviews with internal and external providers (OT, SLP, MH, CM).
  • Deliver regular family coaching and education sessions—virtually and in-person—to strengthen caregiver capacity and engagement.
  • Coordinate community-based sessions to generalize skills across environments.
  • Support families in navigating care transitions and community resources as needed.
  • Complete all required clinical documentation, including assessments, treatment plans, supervision logs, and reauthorization reports, within required timeframes.
  • Maintain clinical records in compliance with state, payer, and PD policy standards.
  • Identify clinical and operational risks and escalate appropriately through established channels.
  • Participate in regional fidelity reviews, peer supervision, and ongoing professional development sessions.
  • Collaborate with Regional Clinical Leadership to identify best practices, barriers, and trends impacting service delivery.
  • Support readiness for audits, accreditation, and payer reviews as needed.
