About The Position
Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking a dedicated Clinical Laboratory Technologist to support a fast-paced hospital laboratory environment. This role requires strong expertise in chemistry and hematology, along with the ability to perform complex testing with precision during night shift operations.
Requirements
- Associate’s Degree in Clinical Laboratory Technology from an accredited program
- Valid New York State Clinical Laboratory Technologist License (NYSED)
- Minimum 1 year of relevant clinical laboratory experience
- Strong experience in chemistry and hematology
- Ability to work independently in a night shift environment
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Laboratory Science or related field
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
- Experience in a hospital or high-volume laboratory setting
Responsibilities
- Perform routine and complex laboratory testing in chemistry and hematology
- Accurately analyze and interpret test results
- Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory equipment
- Follow and document quality control procedures
- Prepare specimens and ensure sample integrity
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of results
- Adhere to all safety, infection control, and regulatory standards
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to support patient care
- Monitor and manage laboratory inventory and supplies
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives
