The Clinical Lab Technologist performs technical laboratory procedures in chemistry/hematology or other assigned lab, as directed by the Laboratory Manager or Principal Investigator. This role involves performing technical procedures in chemistry/hematology, including coagulation and urinalysis, and ensuring the proper maintenance and calibration of instrumentation. The technologist is responsible for quality control, maintaining accurate records, and communicating critical test results to nursing staff and physicians. They also assist with inventory control, participate in performance improvement activities, and adhere to all safety and compliance policies. The position requires a B.S. in Medical Technology or equivalent, with ASCP or NCA certification preferred, and 0-1 year of experience.
