About The Position

The Clinical Laboratory Supervisor – Blood Bank provides leadership and oversight for daily blood bank operations, ensuring the accurate, timely, and safe performance of transfusion services. This position supervises laboratory personnel, coordinates workflow, and ensures compliance with established policies, regulatory requirements, quality standards, and patient safety practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor Of Science degree in Medical Laboratory Sciences, Medical Technology, Biology, or Chemistry
• Valid ASCP Certification
• 3 years of supervisory or management experience
• Proof of legal authority to work in the United States on the first day of employment.

Nice To Haves

• Previous blood bank or transfusion medicine experience

Responsibilities

• Supervises and evaluates all personnel in the blood bank.
• Evaluates and modifies work flow to meet production demands.
• Assures compliance with all accreditation and regulatory requirements.
• Supervises technical staff performing high complexity testing procedures.
• This position is required to be on call in case of emergencies.
