About The Position

Main Line Health is hiring a Clinical Laboratory Scientist at Lankenau Medical Center. The role performs a variety of complex laboratory tests to help detect, diagnose, and treat disease and supports patients and the community as part of an interdisciplinary team. This position does not include blood bank responsibilities. It is a 40-hour-per-week position on the evening shift, 3:00–11:30 p.m., with two holidays and one in four weekends worked as departmental needs require. The position is eligible for a $7,500 sign-on bonus. Employees may also receive up to 160 hours of paid time off per year based on full- or part-time status, and access employee discounts and free parking.

Requirements

• Skills necessary to perform procedures contained in the laboratory procedure manual, including specimen processing, test performance, and reporting test results.
• Demonstrated communication, organization, and prioritization skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in an accredited Medical Laboratory Technician program or a related field.
• An equivalent combination of education and experience is accepted.

Nice To Haves

• Previous laboratory computer system experience.
• MLT (ASCP) or equivalent certification.
