About The Position
The California Department of Health is seeking experienced Clinical Laboratory Scientists (CLS) to support clinical and public health laboratory operations in Sacramento, California.
Requirements
- A current State of California Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) license.
- At least three (3) years of professional experience in one or more of the following areas: Field consultation in clinical and/or public health laboratories, Supervision of professional laboratory staff or experience serving as a laboratory director, Work as a staff specialist in technical areas of clinical and/or public health laboratory sciences.
Responsibilities
- Providing technical consultation and expertise to clinical and public health laboratories.
- Supervising and providing guidance to professional laboratory personnel.
- Applying specialized knowledge in technical areas of clinical and public health laboratory sciences.
- Supporting laboratory management and operational activities.
