Responsibilities
- Collect, label, and prepare specimens for testing according to standard procedures
- Assist laboratory technologists and technicians with routine tasks and equipment maintenance
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laboratory workspace
- Accurately document and enter data into laboratory information systems
- Adhere to safety and quality control guidelines to ensure compliance with regulatory standards
- Support inventory management by tracking supplies and notifying supervisors of shortages
