About The Position

Conduct routine and specialized diagnostic testing for designated sections of the laboratory. Use standard and specialized techniques, along with laboratory equipment and instrumentation, to complete testing. Report test results and apply technical skills and knowledge to facilitate patient care while providing timely and accurate results. This role is based on a night shift, with a stated schedule of 12 a.m. to 8 a.m. and every other weekend and holidays.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts in Medical Technology or Science.
• New York State Education Department (NYSED) license.
• 2–3 years of Blood Bank experience.
• Some experience using computers for data entry.

• ASCP preferred.
