About The Position

This role is responsible for providing laboratory testing services. Duties include obtaining specimens, performing testing, preparing specimens for transportation, providing laboratory reports, participation in quality control and quality assurance programs, and maintenance of laboratory equipment. Clinical Laboratory Scientists of all levels must demonstrate good judgment and technical skill. Requirements

CLSL-Licensed Clinical Lab Scientist Upon Hire
Knowledge of phlebotomy, specimen handling, processing and experience with Lab Information Systems
Expert knowledge and ability to perform in all technical areas of the lab as assigned
Basic knowledge of how to operate and troubleshoot all essential laboratory and office equipment

Nice To Haves

One (1) year continuous experience as a Clinical Laboratory Scientist
For CLS without experience, prior experience in the clinical laboratory/healthcare and Palo Alto Medical Foundation (3 years) is preferred
Equivalency will be determined by the Laboratory Director and the Personnel office staff
