CLINICAL LAB SCIENTIST Per Diem
About The Position
This is a Per Diem Clinical Lab Scientist (CLS) position located at Corona Regional Medical Center in Corona, CA. The hospital, established in 1965 as Corona Community Hospital and later merged to become Corona Regional Medical Center, is a 238-bed community hospital network. It is certified by The Joint Commission and employs over 1,250 healthcare workers with a medical staff of approximately 347 physicians. The CLS will report to the Senior C.L.S./Supervisor and will assist in the operation of the Laboratory by performing specialized medical laboratory testing. The role involves performing and reporting test results, ensuring accuracy, and assisting in the training and orientation of new technologists. The position also includes directing the work of laboratory assistants and auxiliary personnel, maintaining knowledge of departmental standard operating procedures, and complying with all quality control policies. The employee is expected to understand and actively participate in fulfilling the mission and core values of Corona Regional Medical Center, supporting its strategic plan and performance improvement goals.
Requirements
- Current California Clinical Laboratory Scientist License required.
Responsibilities
