About The Position

Following procedures established by the Section Heads and medical directors, a Clinical Laboratory Scientist performs a variety of laboratory tests in many areas of the laboratory including High Complexity Tests as defined by CLIA. CLS is responsible for accuracy and reporting of results of application of principles, theories and techniques, professional judgment, computer proficiency, microscopic proficiency, and good communications skills.
Requirements
- BA/BS degree from an accredited college or university with a major in the biological or chemical sciences as required for California State licensure.
- Completion of an accredited CLS program with requisite internship.
- Valid and current California CLS license.
- Must provide original/original duplicate license upon hire.
