About The Position

The Clinical Lab Scientist-Lead serves as an advanced-level resource responsible for coordinating complex testing activities, ensuring workflow continuity, and promoting adherence to quality and regulatory standards. Applies in-depth technical knowledge to assist with problem-solving, validation, and process optimization. Collaborates closely with peers, Supervisors, and leadership to support operational readiness, quality improvement, and staff development. Provides technical mentorship, facilitates communication, and contributes to the integration of new methods, technologies, and best practices. Performs other duties as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree required
  • Two years of experience in a high complexity, computerized clinical laboratory as a licensed Clinical Lab Scientist required

  • California Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) Generalist MTA license is required
  • For Histocompatibility, a California Clinical Histocompatibility Scientist MTR license is acceptable
