One California As our Clinical Lab Scientist III, you will plan, coordinate and direct activities for responsible section (Chemistry, Microbiology, etc). Every day you will direct the implementation of new procedures. Also provide technical assistant and training of laboratory personnel. You will communicate skillfully in writing and orally. To be successful in this role, you must have ability to direct and provide leadership to others. Have knowledge of laboratory regulatory requirements (CAP, CLIA, Joint Commission). Extensive knowledge of principles, procedures and techniques of clinical laboratory analysis especially in section of responsibility. Ability to be an effective team member, and work with many publics across all departments.

Requirements

  • Three (3) years clinical laboratory experience as a Clinical Lab Scientist
  • Minimum two (2) years of experience in section of specialty
  • California Medical Technologist license (LIC CLS)
  • Ability to direct and provide leadership to others.
  • Knowledge of laboratory regulatory requirements (CAP, CLIA, Joint Commission).
