Seeking a Clinical Laboratory Manager to serve as the operational leader and strategic partner in launching a new Hematologic Malignancy Laboratory within the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP). Working within a tripartite leadership structure alongside a Medical Director and Laboratory Director, this role will establish workflows, build a culture of quality and collaboration, and serve as the critical bridge between laboratory operations and clinical care. The manager will own the day-to-day operations, setting professional and quality standards for high-complexity testing, overseeing operations for accurate and timely results, ensuring regulatory compliance, managing budgets, and leading a technical team. They will also be a strategic collaborator, partnering with clinical teams to optimize service delivery and evaluate new methods. The role involves championing continuous improvement, identifying bottlenecks, creating efficient systems, and representing the laboratory to internal and external partners, fostering a team culture rooted in excellence and patient-centered impact.
