About The Position

Ensure proper transportation of specimens from clients, delivers supplies as requested. Ability to drive safely, following all rules of the road, along with the ability to communicate well and anticipate the needs of our clients.

Requirements

High School diploma, general equivalency diploma (GED), and/or GED equivalent programs.
Minimum of 3 years driving experience
Shows proper driving techniques.
Ability to communicate well and properly with clients, co-workers and supervisors.
Valid Driver's License from a USA state.

Responsibilities

Collect specimens from physician's office and deliver specimens to designated laboratory section. Return specimens as requested.
Accommodate STAT pick up requests as indicated.
Maintain communication both verbal and electronic with Call Center.
Maintain accurate manual / electronic documentation of the daily pick up, drop off, and registration of Clinlab Specimens.
Maintains documentation of supply requests and deliveries.
Maintain current, valid NJ driver's license.
Demonstrate safe driving skills by adhering to state laws.
Report vehicle problems/maintenance as needed.
Prepare and deliver requested supplies within 24 hours of request.
Adjust supply requests to correspond with specimens received.
Other duties and/or projects as assigned.
Adheres to HMH Organizational competencies and standards of behavior.
