Clinical Lab Associate 3
About The Position
This is a 2nd shift position where the associate will triage and process advanced specimens independently. The role involves working closely with all laboratory staff, medical staff, and external customers, including advanced troubleshooting and problem resolution. The associate will also perform packing and shipping of laboratory specimens to be sent to referring laboratories. Allied health is among the fastest growing occupations in healthcare today. Requirements
- 1 year relevant work experience
- High School Diploma or GED

Responsibilities
- Sorting, triaging, receiving, sending, processing and batching specimens
- Accessioning specimens received with a requisition
- Processing samples pre-analytically for testing
- Processing test add-ons and resolving any pre-analytical specimen or test issues
- Providing general clerical support
- Performs packing and shipping of laboratory specimens to be sent out to referring laboratories.
