About The Position

Texas Health is hiring a Clinical Lab Assistant at Texas Health Fort Worth, located at 1301 Pennsylvania Ave., Fort Worth, TX 76104. The position works first- or second-shift hours, primarily 4:00 AM–12:30 PM, with occasional evening hours. The schedule includes every other weekend and rotating holidays. The role supports specimen integrity, test procedures, laboratory operations, professional accountability, quality control and documentation, and safety. Texas Health Fort Worth is an 851-bed, Magnet-designated, full-service hospital serving the Fort Worth community since 1930. Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Must comply with CLIA regulations regarding foreign education equivalency (CLIAFE).
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to function in a fast-paced environment.
Strong critical-thinking, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Proficiency in basic computer skills.

Nice To Haves

Six months of experience as a phlebotomist or completion of a one-semester course in phlebotomy.
PBT (ASCP) – Phlebotomy Technician certification, preferred upon hire.
